I purchased the chair in the Drusky Charcoal Sustain Basketweave fabric so it would last a long time. The color is fairly bland, so I have a colorful blanket thrown over the top pillow. I also plan to change out the pillow cover with something else as well. This chair is huge! I did all the measurements and was still surprised at it's size compared to the very large recliner I have sitting next to it! It's immediately comfortable, no need to break it in first. You have plenty of room to sit sideways or cross-legged. My large dog would love to take it over as his personal bed. I have a small ottoman/pouf that I can put in front of it for extra comfort as well. The side arms are tall enough that with the pillow you can lean against it to watch TV. My daughter lays with her legs hanging over the edge of the arm. For our small living room it fills adds another comfy option for seating against a wall where you might otherwise put a side chair.. Customer Service was responsive to the defects situation and worked with me on a solution. Defects aside, the chairs are comfortable and the right size for the space. The chair is beautiful and well packaged. I love the way it looks in my office; however, I thought the seat would be thicker/better padded. I'm thin person, but it feels as if I'm sinking onto a hard surface when I sit in the chair as if I were heavier. I've had the chair for only 7 days and I've had to buy a seat cushion due to the thin padding. I hoped to not have to do that. Beautiful chair but poor quality. After having it for only two weeks, the leg fell off when my son was pushing it across the floor and was almost impossible to screw back in. My husband was able to reconstruct it by moving the castor- more effort than anticipated when we purchased the chair.
