This is easily my favorite purchase from Birch Lane. It’s expensive, but after seeing it in person, I think it’s worth every penny. This is the kind of substantial, beautiful piece of furniture that you keep for years and eventually pass down. This chest is well-made, sturdy and just what I was looking for. It is slightly more golden in tone than I thought, but it isn't a deal-breaker. The rattan is not only on the doors, but also on the sides and back. Great for ventilation but also means you can see into the chest a bit, so I'll have to keep it neat inside. Delivery was smooth.
