Love the look of this light! It looks fantastic in our remodeled laundry room. Shipping was fast and the item arrived intact. It took about an hour to swap out our existing light for this one. Some quibbles - the instructions were pretty much worthless in my opinion. The lamp pictured on the manual wasn't even the same one we had purchased. I suppose the installation steps were the same but not being able to match the instructions to our lamp visually was really throwing me off. Luckily this is the ninth light fixture I've bought for the house so my husband and I have had some prior practice! Secondly, the holes to mount the glass dome onto the light base are not aligned well. We were able to make it work, but it took some elbow grease and prayers. This gorgeous chandelier replaced a dated ceiling fan and is just the upgrade my dining room needed. These could not be more perfect. I have been searching for pendants for above our island for over 9 months. We had three, tiny, builder-grade pendants in this space before and they did nothing for our kitchen. I wanted to be sure the size of whatever we bought would look appropriate with our tall ceilings and open floor plan. These do such a wonderful job of filling the space without looking crowded. We have a lot of black in our house (curtain rods, dining room chairs, etc) and although these are technically a dark, dark brown, they still look great. I don't foresee wanting to paint them or anything. Clean out the glass and consider using gloves when you're installing to avoid dust and fingerprints inside the pendants. Other than that, enjoy. Beautiful lights. The image and the actual light don’t match 100% though. The chain which links the crystal is a brass color. In some of the pics it appears dark grey or black.
