This tree did not disappoint. It is absolutely stunning. It took less than 20 minutes to assemble out of the box. Since it is a flocked tree, there will be white residue on the surface surrounding it, but I noticed that this diminished over time, and can easily be cleaned up with a swiffer dry cloth. The only thing that could possibly make this a better tree would be “in trunk channel lighting” but the pieces attach easily and the lights connect with two or three little prongs. The tree needs to be fluffed. You can do moderate fluffing for a more realistic look or super fluffing for a fuller look. After many years of having a fresh cut tree, we decided to switch over to a faux tree. I was a bit apprehensive after I saw the tree pulled out of the box, but after an easy assembly and a bit of time consuming “fluffing” the tree looked very nice. Great value and very happy with the purchase. Showing before complete fluffing and after decorating and adding lights. Note, it’s time consuming to open up and fluff the branches and bend them in the right way. Also, adding lights are harder than I expected because there is a lot of empty space and all I could see was the light cords. But even with those complaints, I really like the finished product and like that we can choose a different type of lights with the same tree (unlike pre lit trees). While I was struggling to put fairy lights on my cut tree, it tipped over, and all the lights became impossibly tangled. I was so frustrated that I began searching for an artificial tree. I chose this one because I liked the shape and it promised 2-day shipping. It did arrive in two days! After spending a couple of hours “fluffing” it, I began to decorate it. This tree is BEAUTIFUL! One review stated it's see-through which almost stopped me from buying it. But it's a nordic spruce and that's a part of it's charm. It's whimsical and old world feeling. This is also my first slender tree and it's the perfect size. I love that the limbs have the nordic spruce tips. It looks so real and I didn't have to fluff them out much at all.
