That’s always something important to check. These are rated for up to 200 lbs. the fabric is a nice, deep green and a true velvet. Nice and soft. The the very comfortable and have just the right cushioning and back slope. They come with plastic already mounted to the bottom of the legs which are nice wood and have a rustic, modern look that’s aged. Not as yellow as the picture. I recommend this item. We love the shape and size of these chairs, and we especially love the color. We're using one of them in our entry way as an easy spot to sit and put on shoes, and the other in a guest room, but plan to use them both at our dining table when needed for extra company. The only thing we weren't happy with was the rough finish of the wood in places. It was almost as if it got wet after the wood was sanded, because there were strange rough patches here and there.
