The stand is exactly what I was looking for to go with my Natural wood floors. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the two swinging doors are hard to open after I put my Center Speaker on the top of the unit. This is causing the wood to bend slightly and the doors are harder to open. I took off the back of the unit to provide more air flow for my receiver that sits underneath and in the middle. The piece is very well made, delivery was a snap, and the images on the website did not mislead us. Some information on the specification description is confusing, i.e. is the piece pine or poplar or is it simply a black poplar wash on pine, huh Still don’t know but it feels like pine, though hard to tell due to the black color and totally opaque finish. But we had a great experience from ordering to delivery and it was seamless, the piece is beautiful, whole, undamaged, and fits perfectly. It is a very nice and sturdy piece of furniture. It is exactly what I was hoping to receive looking at pictures from posted reviews. There are two manufacturer flaws hoping to be able to fix myself. The back has a broken corner which looks caused by an overt tightened screw. One shelve pin that is screwed in is messed up. The entertainment center is great, however Felix who was sent from Anji's was not very nice. He was installing the shelves and I could see that he didn't have the finished edges facing outward, he was putting the shelves in backwards! I checked the manual to see if I was incorrect and it was very plain that the installer was putting the shelves in backwards! We argued over this well over 5 minutes and I even showed him the diagram of how the shelves should be and basically he told me I didn't know what I was talking about! I finally told him that I didn't care how he wanted to install the shelves, I wanted them facing to the front! He questioned me again and I said, "Just do it!" Felix wasn't happy, but finally installed it the way I wanted. He left in a hurry and I asked if he was going to clean up and he said, "No"! He left the room in a complete mess, styrofoam everywhere and multiple boxes everywhere too! Everything was great EXCEPT the installer that Anji's sent!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a great cabinet however, there have been issues. The first one arrived damaged and Wayfair sent a furniture repair person to fix. It was too badly damaged and was replaced within three weeks. The second unit came in great condition, service was great however, upon further inspection, the touch-latch for the bottom drawer isn't functional. Hopefully an easy repair.
