I typically never write glowing reviews, as items typically arrive and I am happy for the most part - but you just never know when ordering online. THESE have blown me away!! I cannot say enough good things about them - They are beautiful, they are HEAVY, they are well constructed, they are beyond comfortable to sit in (the angle of the back is perfection), they have character and they look like something I've owned for generations and I love that. It states on the description that assembly is required - it is not - they arrive ready to put at the table. The one thing that I immediately noticed (but really didn't care after getting them out of the box) is that they are definitely dark gray -they are not black.
