I purchased to use as a recycle bin in a small area. Because the recyclables are so light in weight, you can't use the Step-On feature without the can tipping forward, so I have to manually lift the lid. However, if someone is using to for a trash receptacle, it refuse would probably be a lot heavier, so the Step-On would probably work without tipping. Otherwise, the material is sturdy and easy to clean. The wheels makes it easy to move around.

A good quality, attractive kitchen bin

Great trash can I really like that it has hands free opening.
