Bennison Dining Armchair

This is a beautiful chair, has the looks of a quality chair and it’s very sturdy, but it is not comfortable. It looks cozy, but no lumbar support at all, and the seat is incredibly rigid and hard. Even though there is clearly padding, it feels like sitting on a bench and I don’t think this will break in over time. The arm parts are just wood 1x4’s with fabrics around them. Unfortunate, because it’s very good looking. I got the beige. I wouldn’t want to sit in this at a diner party, nor would I want my guests to. If you’re just looking for looks, then this is your chair! If you’re looking for comfort, not it.

To be honest, this is a very nice chair. It’s a little firmer than I expected, but it still provides plenty of support and feels sturdy when you sit in it. The high back and gently sloped arms are comfortable, and the textured fabric looks even prettier in person. What I like most is the style. It has an elegant shape with clean lines, so I think it would work with almost any decor, from traditional to more modern. The neutral color also makes it easy to pair with different tables and finishes. Overall, it’s a fashionable, substantial chair that will make a dining area feel a little more polished.
