When I first put the tree together I noticed the lights were quite bright, however the tree is gold and I believe that increased the glow. This is my first (manufactured) tree so I had to adjust to it. I do like it very much After the holiday it boxed up very nicely and stored away in the original packing Easy to put up and take down Limbs very sturdy for holding heavy ornaments
