I guess it's my fault for not thoroughly reading. This set has no timer. You literally have to switch it on and off or wait till the batteries die and change them out. We just assumed in this day and age all these items have an off/off/timer switch. There's a bit of flocking on them so as you change your batteries, there will be some cleanup each time as well. Considering returning.
