48 In. Red Velvet Tree Skirt With White Snowflakes And Pom Poms

Great tree skirt love it!

Bright and pretty...great for the price.

Very disappointing! The tree skirt is not made of "velvet" as described, or even velveteen. It is made of thin fleece with a thin felt-like backing. The front and back stretched as they were sewn together, so that the bottom edge bunches up and obscures the pom-pom fringe, rather than laying flat. Several of the pom-poms broke loose from the edge and are dangling by a thread. The snowflakes, made of a very thin felt, are glued on so haphazardly that smears of dried glue are visible all over the surface. The skirt came crammed into a very small box and is deeply wrinkled. The instructions are not to iron the skirt, probably because it would melt the fabric and the glued snowflakes. I managed to reduced the depth of the wrinkles slightly with a very low-heat iron and a press cloth. I wanted a tree skirt in red with a simple motif; aiming for a vintage look. The only thing vintage about this is that it looks suspiciously like it has been in a old lady's attic for the past few decades! The cheap $5 skirt that I was trying to replace actually looks much better-made than this tree skirt. Save yourself the tears and buy something else.

The skirt is not velvet. The white appliques will not last over one season and there will not be any washing the item successfully.

This skirt was a great addition to our holiday decor. The fabric was richly colored and laid beautifully around the tree.
