What an EASY build. I always appreciate not having to put together 50 billion pieces. This bed took no more than 15 minutes to put together. I gave it 4 stars simply because the footboard had some stains. However, the bed is gorgeous timeless. Love the bed but during shipping the headboard box was pretty beaten up. The headboard wasn’t protected at all when it was delivered. Styrofoam was on the bottom of the box. A couple of issues. One was one of the posts had a crack in it nothing large but enough to to contact Wayfair. The second was since the headboard wasn’t protected there was some damage to the top of the headboard. Wayfair is taking 10 off and I took it since I don’t know how I would ever package up the old headboard. The bed is beautiful, as long as there’s no shipping issues you will love it.. Susan. I purchased a sage green. I was surprised at the style of the bed because the headboard and footboard profiles were thicker than predicted on the picture. From the image, the headboard appeared a bit more sleeper as well as the footboard. Overall, the bed is solid and has been performing well. I use a 12 inch foam mattress. But after a few days, I decided to use the 5” box spring that I purchased to use for this unit. The style and comfort is great. The box spring allow the foam mattress to perform so much better. The mattress height isn’t low. It’s like a standard bed. If you want an If you want a lower profile bed, the boxspring is not required. Overall I’m satisfied. I wish the images aligned more with the product. Delivery and set up was great. There is flexibility with changing the set up date to meet the delivery date.
