These are beautifully made, solid chairs with soft, top-grain leather. I purchased them in the Brushed Ebony leather which is perfect for what I was looking for. However, I agree with another reviewer that the legs are a little too long for people of average height. Whether it's the height of the seat cushion or the length of the legs, the overall seating position is a bit higher than our other dining chairs, making it difficult to have my feet solidly on the ground if I'm leaning all the way back.
