We are overall happy with our purchase, however I've knocked off a star because I want buyers to beware of the slats. They are not the typical 2.5in apart slats, but rather a grid of fewer slats/planks. See photo attached. I'm pointing this out because our new mattress's warranty is only effective if the bed is sitting on slats that are 2.5in apart or less, and so we ended up having to purchase and cut 2 separate pieces of plywood and place them on top of the grid to brings things "up to code," for lack of a better term. Aside from this note, I'm very happy with the bed so far. The green chenille fabric is lovely, and it seems very sturdy and well made. Note that the bedframe itself hovers about 1.5 inches above the ground (I couldn't find this measurement easily when assessing the product info), so if you're wearing open toed shoes around your bed, you may stub your toes (it's taking me some getting used to, as our old bed sat at least 8in off the ground). The headboard has some padding, however I'm sure it would get uncomfortable if I leaned against it for a long amount of time, but that's what pillows are for!. Anonymous. Tue Sep 08 2026

Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product. I purchased a sage green. I was surprised at the style of the bed because the headboard and footboard profiles were thicker than predicted on the picture. From the image, the headboard appeared a bit more sleeper as well as the footboard. Overall, the bed is solid and has been performing well. I use a 12 inch foam mattress. But after a few days, I decided to use the 5” box spring that I purchased to use for this unit. The style and comfort is great. The box spring allow the foam mattress to perform so much better. The mattress height isn’t low. It’s like a standard bed. If you want an If you want a lower profile bed, the boxspring is not required. Overall I’m satisfied. I wish the images aligned more with the product. Delivery and set up was great. There is flexibility with changing the set up date to meet the delivery date. We bought the classic navy linen in the platform bed for our son’s room. It was delivered quickly and the assembly crew came promptly the next morning. It is perfect! Looks high end and expensive!
