I got this dresser in the dark mocha color, and it is absolutely beautiful! It arrived in perfect condition and the delivery went well. I'd give it 5 stars, but there's one buyer beware comment I have about it — when you open the drawers, they off gas terribly because of the finish. I had to keep windows open during the day and run an air purifier for 2 weeks. I'm sensitive to chemical smells. It took a full month leaving the drawers open to air out before the smell had dissipated enough that I could put clothes in it. I did try to clean it but that didn't seem to help. Beautiful dresser though, and if you're willing to wait a while after to get it to use it, you won't be disappointed. I wouldn't sleep in the same room as the dresser until it wasn't putting strong chemicals in the air, and I'd air it out for a month before letting a child or baby sleep in that room. I hope the company reconsiders the type of finish they are using.. Meredith. AZ. Fri Oct 23 2026

The chest of drawers is very nice looking. It is a heavy piece of furniture, but the drawers arent as sturdy as I thought they should be. I can feel them wobble a bit when opening. It seems that all furniture is like this these days. The bottom drawer has a cedar lining, and the top drawer contains a velvet lining. I am happy with the purchase, but I do wish the drawers were more stable. The delivery of this piece of furniture went well, although another piece was damaged. Birch Lane took care of that situation. I must have been mistaken by thinking the purchase included white glove delivery, but it was only delivered to the room, not unpacked. It was not a problem for us to unpack and add the legs. If you like the look of this piece- I think you will be happy when delivered.. Kim. KY. Tue Feb 11 2025
