Nice piece. Heavy wood, sturdy. The light areas are much darker in person, so less contrast. The top is dark. The legs are sturdy and easy to install. However they look like metal sprayed heavily with gold spray paint. Very DIY looking. Not noticeable once installed. The piece came without knobs which I’d intended to replace anyway. This is a solid, well-crafted piece. I was a little nervous about how nice metal would look, but it looks very stylish. My only slight complaint is that paint on the inside of the sideboard scraped a bit when I wasn't careful what I put in the unit (we're currently storing some weird things in it due to remodeling). So if you were putting something that might be abrasive in the sideboard, you might want to use non-adhesive shelf paper inside to protect the paint/shelves.. Maureen. Thu Oct 17 2024
