The cushion is thick and the back is sloped just enough to lean slightly back in so you’re not upright and stiff; you can really relax into them. More importantly, they’re sturdy and real wood, so I think they’re fairly priced since I think they’ll last. Very good quality BUT one of the seats had a stain on it which occurred "at production". The installers unwrapped it in front of me and we all immediately noticed a large stain (water mark?).
