3 & Above Loose Back Sectional Sofas

This corner sectional delivers clean lines and a relaxed, casual silhouette that updates your layout. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on tarpered legs for a mid-century modern look. The linen-blend upholstery wraps the clean-lined frame to provide a smooth, inviting texture across your home. Thick fiber-wrapped foam cushions combine with sinuous springs to offer supportive comfort for reading, streaming, or unwinding after a long day. This seating choice accommodates five people comfortably for gathering with friends or relaxing with family. It also features loose back cushions to maintain a tailored style.

We got this couch as a last resort after being dragged around by another company, so I didn't have super high hopes and it wasn't exactly what we wanted. But it's turned out well! The back cushions came extremely overstuffed and firm (see closer photo), which didn't match any of the listing or review photos. It felt like the back of the couch was trying to push you off every time you sat back. But it turns out those cushions are just loose fill, which normally I do not like, but here it meant I could just remove a bunch of stuffing and now they're much better. The couch is a little taller and looks bulkier in person than I was expecting, but it's growing on me. We've had the couch for about five months now and it gets jumped on daily by my two toddlers. No worse for wear so far. This is the Sustain Dursky Charcoal, which is quite soft. In the second photo you can see that I've flipped the back cushions for even wear. Contrary to other reviewers, this is totally possible! You just have to be okay with the back and seat cushions not necessarily lining up--you have to flip them across the two sides of the couch, not in place.. Jillian. Chicago, IL. Thu Jul 27 2023

We just recd our sectional yeaterday (earlier than expected -awesome). It was securely packaged and arrived in perfect condition. We needed a specific size for a small area and this fits perfectly. We chose the color ‘Nomad Ink’ and its soft almost like a chenille. The cushions are THICK and slightly firm - I don't think we've owned a couch so comfortable right out of the box. The pieces (sofa and loveseat are substantial and feel solid) The slip cover was on and wasn't too wrinkled (might just be the fabric). We also received 3 throw pillows with feather inserts. This was our first online purchase of a couch and we have zero regrets. Birch Lane reps were also very helpful and knowledgeable. Worth the money!. James. North Tonawanda, NY. Thu Aug 29 2024

I waited to write a review for this couch to see if it would hold up to 2 grandchildren jumping on it, especially my 6-year-old. This couch is fantastic. I absolutely had to get it slipcovered, in 100 cotton fabric, because of the same reason - - Grandchildren. I have washed various parts, a pillow here, couch cushion there, and it looks brand new again. Love it!. Trisch. Lake Mills, WI. Sun Aug 24 2025

The delivery was very professional and the workers were polite, respectful of the sofa and my walls! I ordered a swatch of the fabric first which came very quickly. This couch is the bomb! It's so comfortable.....and it looks great. Tailored without being stuffy/sterile (like the living room furniture you were not allowed to sit on as a kid). It was a little tricky to connect the pieces - metal connectors have to be rotated to connect - and while we bought it for the "option" to rearrange the pieces.....yeah probably will never disconnect to move them around. PS - those creases in the fabric do relax a little. And then you just steam them / pull them to finish.. Elizabeth W.. Cape Coral, FL. Tue Apr 22 2025

Take time to order a swatch! Color definitely not the same as pictured. Very comfortable but deep - not for short people. Seems well made. But the chaise is slightly lower than the sofa, so they don’t line up perfectly and there is a small gap when connected.. Peggy. Lakewood, CO. Thu Feb 06 2025

1010 this is the couch of my dreams. This sectional is incredibly comfortable, soft enough to nap and spend hours sitting on it but firm enough to support and feel sturdy. I am 75% happy with my purchase. The quality seems good. The color blends with my recently painted wall. The way the unit is connected is very unique, I like this special feature. My unhappiness is: 1) I thought the ottoman was a separate moveable section, 2) the space between the unit of the U shape is too small to add a table.. Maria. Mather, CA. Fri Jun 14 2019
