It’s a solidly made chair and the leather is soft and top grain. Either the seat cushion is too high or the legs are too long so that the overall seating position is higher than our other dining chairs making them uncomfortable. My wife’s feet do not reach the floor and mine barely touch. We’re both average height. I love the chairs and plan to cut an appropriate amount of wood from the legs and solve the problem. I'm using this chair as a desk chair (notice in my pictures, everything in it is from Wayfair:-) ). The chair is sturdy built and comfortable. The wipeable surface is a plus. I honestly could see these used to bring high style to a dining room or a side chair in a seating area. The light wood mixed with the charcoal grey upholstery looks really sharp. Honestly, I can't see anyone not satisfied with this chair. I think it is also sturdy enough and wide enough for larger individuals to feel comfortable and supported in this chair. I ordered 6 of the side chairs in green. The chairs are a nice heavy weight and the color is beautiful. They have just the right amount of distressing.
