That’s always something important to check. These are rated for up to 200 lbs. the fabric is a nice, deep green and a true velvet. Nice and soft. The the very comfortable and have just the right cushioning and back slope. They come with plastic already mounted to the bottom of the legs which are nice wood and have a rustic, modern look that’s aged. Not as yellow as the picture. I recommend this item. I searched and searched for the perfect chairs to go with my new dining room table! They are slightly lighter than my table which is ash and have a bit of a chocolate color to them but it was a nice contrast. They are VERY heavy and sturdy. Nice wide seat and were very easy to assemble. I didn’t have any of the issues others noted about being wobbly and I bought 6 of them so that’s pretty good odds. I am very happy with my purchase!.
