The chairs are lovely. They are as attractive in real life as they appear online. The only negative I can say about them is that the cushions are quite firm. There is no give in them at all. I'm guessing they will soften up over time or I can probably take them to an upholsterer and have the material inside the cushion cover replaced with foam. We really love the chairs. However, the online order process did not go well. I wanted 2 identical chairs, but my order for 2 was compromised due to system issues. My 2 chairs with Allstate protection coverage was processed as 1 chair. When I reordered 2nd chair I lost the Allstate protection and in my rush ordered identical chair but 2nd had shorter legs with slightly different design and different stain! We like these chairs as they are a good transition/crossover piece when combining eclectic furniture pieces and souvenirs picked over the years all in one room. They are comfortable for taller individuals to sit on while also being rather cozy to curl up on with a book and a cat if you are on the shorter side. We have ours in a room with antique Asian and modern island decor, cluttered with mementos, but these chairs would look equally nice in a Japanese minimalist, Japandi/Skandi, beach, or transitional room..
