This is a very well constructed counter stool. The low back comes just to the top of the counter not blocking anything. The only negative I would say is that the arms make it uncomfortable for a 300lb. individual, but that's okay, I'll get him his own special stool. The packaging of the item is thoughtfully considered for the quality of the stool.
