Sumi Writing Desk

This desk is beautiful and well-made

Nice desk, plenty of room for my needs, color is better in person. I didn't like the handles so I swapped them out for oil rubbed bronze ones that give it a much more refined look and now I love it. Our desk arrived with some minor damage ( not sure if it was the installers or it came this way) but I was able to easily rectify and a return was not necessary. Birch Lane was easy to deal with and more than fair in adjusting the price for my efforts,

Looks great in person. Very sturdy. Top left and middle drawers are very shallow so they will only fit fairly flat items.

It is the perfect desk for me. Great cable storage and just the right dimensions for my space. Very easy to assemble.

Desks are very attractive and easy to put together. Only required adding legs. Seem sturdy, although the material the drawers are made of and the material used to attach the drawer slides to the desk is of very lightweight material and one was broken when we got the desk. We were able to fix it ourselves, but hopefully they will hold up over time. Color is true to picture and like the hidden plugs/USB ports.

Good desk. Feels sort of old though. Drawers not fitting perfectly
