This platform bed provides a supportive upholstered headboard for comfortable leaning while reading or relaxing in bed. The bed arrived ahead of schedule and I really like the shade of white and the overall look. The assembly, which we did ourselves was tricky…and my husband is very handy. The hardware was tough to align (it took us an hour or more to get the left side board to latch in correctly to the headboard), the pre-drilled holes on the feet did not match the diagram and the screws that were supplied for securing the wood slats were so long they would have dangerously protruded underneath the bed (we switched those). We bought the classic navy linen in the platform bed for our son’s room. It was delivered quickly and the assembly crew came promptly the next morning. It is perfect! Looks high end and expensive! The only think I should have addressed is we need a box spring for it. It’s not required but will sit low to floor if you don’t have one. Other than that it’s great looking!. Tami. Birmingham, AL.
