Alexa 79'' Dining Table

The table is beautiful but horrible quality. I’ve had this table for less than a year and I heard a loud pop and the table split right down the middle!! Waiting to hear back from customer service. This is terrible.

This table is beautiful, but horrible quality. We’ve had the table for two weeks, and the table top has already cracked. Going to contact customer service, but the item description says you can only report issues within 3 days of delivery. We are so sad!

A very nice table with a beautiful finish. Generally sturdy construction.

I intended to buy an all-wood table, and that's how this is described. However, I'm pretty sure it's veneer--maybe with solid wood underneath. As others noted, the finish is not smooth. I plan to sand off the finish to make it smoother, and then polyurethane it to protect it. There doesn't seem to be a sealer over the stain. The style is simple, which is what I wanted. Because it was white glove delivery, I didn't assemble it, so I can't say how well built it is, but it seems very sturdy. I have been online shopping for tables until I'm tired of it, so if my review isn't glowing, it could be because of exhaustion. Another table might have been exactly what I wanted, but for the price--and included white-glove shipping, this is fine.
