I bought 4 of them and love them. I was hoping the width would be a bit wider as I have a family sll with wide hips but we can all sit comfortably. The fabric is great. One of the adult kids left chocolate sauce on the fabric and I was able to clean it off with water and a sponge. The cushions are so comfortable. They feel sturdy for our heavy weights. We ordered five of these stools. One came damaged and Birch Lane sent a new one. The cushions are a bit hard but expect will soften over time. The wood is a dark walnut stain which is what we wanted. The upholstery is beige with dark gray "flecks". The nylon protectors on the bottom of the legs really grab on our wood floor and make it difficult to move the stools.
