Marwood Solid Wood Slat Bed

easy to assemble and well made!

The bed frame itself is very pretty, the wood is solid with the natural grain showing through. The color of the wood is a medium tone, it reads more cool than warm. It does sit very low to the ground. We had a major issue with our order. At the time we purchased it, the title of the listing was ‘Marwood Slatted King Platform Bed’. We ordered the Queen size, and had halfway finished putting it together when we realized they sent us a King bed frame. Wayfair was helpful, they refunded us and told us to donate the bed, which we did. So I cannot speak to the durability of the frame.

This bed is absolutely amazing. The color is beautiful and it lighter compared to the stock photo. This bed is very sturdy and the quality is great. I am overall so happy and it is definitely a must buy.

I got the bed for our extra bedroom. We are in the middle of redecorating and setting it up. So far, I’m thrilled with it. The wood is very heavy and the finish is absolutely beautiful! I’m very excited about getting the room complete and sharing more pics. I think you would be very pleased with the quality of this bed!

This bed looks amazing! It is very heavy, so plan on two people. The directions are super easy and the bed comes together very quickly. Shipping was also quick. It is pretty low to the ground. Another review had mentioned not having enough slates, so far ours seems to be perfect with the 5 included.

The first thing to point out is the color. I was expecting it to be a little darker brown. If you look at the photo you will see that the slats are much much darker stain than the bed frame itself. I am fine with the lighter color but be careful to look at the review photos before you buy. Second this is such a heavy and well made frame. It truly is solid wood and will not disappoint. I put the footboard piece against a footboard I have on another king bed. You can notice that it sits very low to the ground which is what I wanted. I plan to use a very low profile box spring which is just a couple of inches high. It won’t show above the side rails or the footboard. Then I will place my 12” matrees on top. There should still be enough room to enjoy the slated headboard . In the past I got what what was called a platform bed and the slats were pieces of junk and didn’t even hold a mattress up. This may be more expensive than other beds but you will get your value if you buy this one. Wayfair delivery team was excellent and no damage to the box or item.

We bought this bed with no reviews available or details hoping it would work. It finally arrived after being on backorder for months and it is beautiful and was worth the wait--Solid wood, beautiful finish. It was super easy to assemble, you do need two people--its heavy! It is very close to the ground (a vacuum will not go under), I didnt realize that when I purchased but it's so pretty I dont care. The real problem is the bed is not really a platform bed. It only has 5 crossbars on the King and that is clearly not enough. Our Avocado mattress dips everywhere. You will need to add either a bunkie board or a foundation of some kind to make this work with any kind of foam or hybrid mattress. It may work with a traditional mattress in the smaller sizes? Wayfair was very helpful in making this right for us but beware, this is not a true platform bed.

True to color and seems sturdy. We had the white glove delivery which made assembly seamless.

While it is a solid bed, the color of mine is nothing like the picture so I am very disappointed in that regard. Too expensive to return it so I will sadly live with it.

Good quality product. The room looks spacious because of the low height of the bed and light color.
