Chairs came in extremely well packed box. Literally two pieces and five bolts. Super simple to put together. Only took five minutes. These are very heavy duty, well constructed chairs. Very satisfied. Highly recommend paying the extra money.

Beautiful chair, very sturdy, almost heavy, and well constructed. Comes very well packaged, with easy instructions for assembly. It comes in two fully-built pieces, that just need to be screwed together (the bottom/4 legs is one piece, and the seat/seat back is the other piece). They are comfortable for our family. The black color tends to show off grease/fingerprint marks, but wipes away easily. It doesn't show much in the photos, but the front edge of the seat is a straight line across, not rounded at all, but still comfortable overall. We ordered 5 chairs - one arrived with a noticeable crack down the middle of the seat, which was quickly and easily replaced at no cost to us after a phone call. Great customer service! Very pleased!

Gorgeous chairs. Sturdy, smooth, heavy enough without being difficult to move. Feel like quality. Took a big chance on these hoping they would be comfortable. They are! I’m 5’4” 140lbs and my husband is 6’1” 200lbs. We are both comfortable sitting in these!

Absolutely love this chair! I had made the “rookie” mistake of ordering a cheaper chair (from another site) and just wasn’t happy. Birch Lane has always delivered and this chair was no exception; made of hard, Ash wood, this chair is sturdy, much heavier (than inferior chairs), and timeless. So happy with our purchase and would recommend, not only the chair, but Birch Lane above all others!
