Inspired by furniture design during the life of King Louis Phillippe of France, the Archivist Bookcase brings a stately character to any room, used alone or in pairs. Offering 3 adjustable wood-framed glass shelves, 2 doors with one adjustable wood shelf behind and one light controlled by a 3-intensity touch switch, the bookcase features a soft casual pecan-colored finish with a rustic, character-filled and authentic look. It's thoughtfully crafted from solid wood with a natural wood grain texture and brings a stately character to any room, from the living room to your at-home office. Plus, it comes with a tip-over restraint device, cord-management slot, and lends stately style to your study with its molded trim and carved details. We love how this 42"-wide bookcase looks against a white shiplap wall with a colorful Persian-style rug layered underneath.

This has been a really beautiful, classic addition to our daughter's nursery. It is well-constructed and solid. I hadn't appreciated that the shelves are glass--super pretty, and plenty of closed storage. Very pleased with this purchase.

The bookshelf/bookcase are absolutely beautiful except for the lightbulbs did not work. Both are nonworking lightbulbs that came in the packaging.

LOVE LOVE this bookshelf! It is stately and quality and was exactly what we were looking for! I didn’t even realize they would have lighting until they arrived and didn’t know the shelves were glass but I still like them! The delivery men did a great job as well!

I'm obsessed. This is exactly what I envisioned for my office set up. The color tone of the wood is rich. The quality is amazing. I've been searching for years for this exact design but everything I found was not hardwood, including your high end popular furniture stores. My husband refused to buy manufactured wood, and he is very hard to please. He is over the moon about this furniture. We couldn't be more pleased!!
