Godfrey Cane Back Arm Chair

This chair is really beautiful and well worth the cost. I'm using it as an accent chair next to the console in the foyer and it looks very elegant. Love the double rattan layer, gold feet, and turned out legs. So fun!

Ordered these along with other birch lane chairs that were also the color natural and black. Ask customer support if the chairs would match, assured that they would. Unfortunately the chairs do not match. The caning on these chairs have a yellow tone, not light and natural at all.

The cane backing in the chair is yellow. Nothing like the photo, and wayfair refuses to pay for return shipping. Don't be duped!

The chairs are gorgeous, very big and comfortable. I did have an issue with a broken one but it was open item so only couple options were available. It was pretty damaged, and I was only offered a refund. So, if you buy on sale and not opened item you are in for a beautiful treat! They really very heavy and well made.

I’m torn as to how to review this item. I absolutely loved the look and the quality seemed really great when they arrived. They’re very pretty. Unfortunately they are not very comfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes. The seats are so flat and the padding is very thin. After a couple days we noticed the rattan was quite prickly and easy to damage if you don’t pull the chair out from the table at just the right spot. Despite loving the look of these, I ultimately decided to return them for something a bit more comfortable and durable.

These chairs are beautiful and come already assembled. They look amazing in my dinning room and are very well made.
