Emilio Upholstered Armchair

This piece looks tailored as pictured. It is not. The Emilio armchair is unbelievably frumpy. Not the look I was going for.

I purchased the chair in the Drusky Charcoal Sustain Basketweave fabric so it would last a long time. The color is fairly bland, so I have a colorful blanket thrown over the top pillow. I also plan to change out the pillow cover with something else as well. This chair is huge! I did all the measurements and was still surprised at it's size compared to the very large recliner I have sitting next to it! It's immediately comfortable, no need to break it in first. You have plenty of room to sit sideways or cross-legged. My large dog would love to take it over as his personal bed. I have a small ottoman/pouf that I can put in front of it for extra comfort as well. The side arms are tall enough that with the pillow you can lean against it to watch TV. My daughter lays with her legs hanging over the edge of the arm. For our small living room it fills adds another comfy option for seating against a wall where you might otherwise put a side chair.

Use it every morning - we can fit both my spouse and myself for snuggle time, or me and the pup, or I can expand to fill all available space with the cosiest blankets and pillows for a solid reading experience.

This is super comfy! It is large enough for two or you can just spread out!

This is a very comfortable piece of furniture, but the quality isn’t there. I’ve now owned it three years and we have a cushion that is ripping at the seam, and the back cushion has completely deflated over the years. The fabric said it would be good for people with pets and children, but EVERYTHING stains it! Literally water does! I also purchased the three year protection plan and have had trouble with claims, but that’s another story. I don’t recommend unless you don’t live in you’re living room.
