Boden Daybed with Trundle - Twin

We bought this for our daughter who is transitioning out of her toddler bed and into a bigger bed. Bought it mainly because I wanted something that would last a long while and because this said it was made of high quality manufactured wood and solid wood. The bed arrived in 2 days which was great however the two side panels arrived broken and to my surprise the bed was mostly the QMW and the only solid wood appeared to be the slacks. The bed arrived on August 2nd, I called on August 5th to report the broken side panels. I submitted pictures of the broken side panels and was assured the replacement parts would be shipped directly. We waited over 3 weeks for the replacement parts to arrive. During the 3 weeks both my wife and I called for updates several times and were told to continue to give it a few more days. Eventually the parts arrived 23 days later and we were able to assemble the bed. The even more frustrating part is this bed was listed a month ago for $800 and I had a 10% off coupon. Today, August 29th, as I write this review it is listed for $721 with 20% off, a $237 difference. I reached out to see if the company would give me a partial refund for all of the trouble we went through but due to us getting replacement parts, THREE WEEKS later, there is no more resolution they can give other than a 10% off coupon for the future that I will not be using. The pros of this bed is it is very easy to put together, my wife was able to do it herself. The cons are, there are several imperfections to it as the paint is cracked where the boards meet in various places and it flakes. (I"ll attach a picture for example) The bed also states that it had a weight capacity of 400lb and the trundle 250lb but when I get into the twin daybed it does not feel as sturdy as you'd expect an $800 bed to feel. I wish I had bought something from somewhere else for much cheaper to match the quality of the price than I did purchasing this bed to save on not only money but that frustrations. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

The daybed is beautiful! I would have given it 5 stars, however, it took a long time to come. I know with pandemic going on shipping times are delayed. I must it though, it was worth the wait! I am using the room as a guest room and so far the only persons to sleep on it have been my grandsons and they loved it! I do recommend getting the twin XL for the top with a 8" thickness so the mattress will reach end to end without a gap, and a regular twin for the bottom, 7" thickness.

Love my bed and it’s everything I expected It to be, beautiful and just what I was looking for! And easy to assemble (for my 2 sons) very good choice after search lots of local stores and lots of online sites!!

I could not be happier. This is a perfect daybed. Delivered on time in perfect condition. It is really a two person assembly job, but my husband and I managed without difficulty - or argument. I ordered a Lucid 10" memory foam gel mattress in a twin XL and you can see it fits perfectly. The trundle is just a twin. Exactly what i wanted.
