The bed itself looks nice but Birch Lane, Wayfair, and their entire customer service department has been a nightmare. Our bed was delivered a month ago missing all of the hardware. We had expert assembly which we did not get to use due to the parts missing. Since then, the replacement parts have been reordered twice and have never showed up to our house. Without the hardware, we are unable to set up the bed or reschedule the assembly. The tracking number for the replacement parts has never been updated since the original delivery so we have never been able to track the multiple new orders placed. Every time we call they don’t really have an explanation, just that they will order the parts again. I will not be ordering any large furniture items from this company again.

This is the final product of our “full service delivery” which was supposed to include delivery, assembly, and removal of packing materials. The team left after dropping these parts off saying that since it’s a storage bed, it would “take too long to assemble.” I’m 33 weeks pregnant on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy and their solution to this was to have someone contact us within 48 hours to schedule an assembly team some time this week. It’s Sunday. This “full service delivery” was far from advertised and a deeply disappointing customer experience.

Love this bed and all of the storage space! The color is more of an oatmeal not cream. It took about an hour to assemble by three professionals. There is an upholstery cover that covers the entire bed - headboard and sides. But it’s upholstered underneath so you could decide not to use it, if you wanted. Lifitng the bed up with the mattress on it is not difficult.

The color is grey not cream. Overall looks cheaper than photo online.

I really loved this bed! I was worried about how the quality would be especially for this price, but the materials feel really high quality. The wood is sturdy and firm. The linen fabric is thick, but very soft. I love that I can just wash the slipcover and refresh the bed! The instructions for building aren’t that clear, but it was pretty easy to build nonetheless. I would recommend at least a second set of hands to help you out if you’re not that experienced or comfortable with building furniture. My only complaint and heads up to anyone is that if you order with Affirm, you cannot by any means change the delivery address. I accidentally put in my previous address and had to pay someone to help me bring it to my new place on the other side of town. The boxes are pretty heavy but delivery will leave them in your apartment (they brought it up to my old apartment’s floor).
