This nightstand is exactly as described. It’s solid wood, very sturdy, and HEAVY — definitely not flimsy furniture. It’s also really pretty in person and looks more expensive than a typical nightstand.
The three drawers are fairly shallow, about 3 inches deep, which is worth knowing before purchasing. They’re perfect for socks, underwear, documents, chargers, medications, random odds and ends, or the inevitable collection of things that have no proper home but somehow belong in a nightstand.
You could also store cash and credit cards in it, I suppose, if your goal is to make things extremely convenient for a burglar.
Overall, I’m very happy with it. It’s attractive, solid, functional, and makes an exceptionally elegant junk-drawer nightstand.
