Loved the look of these chairs, but after having them for just a few months, 3 of the 4 have now started to crack along the wood seam on the seat. If it had only happened to one, I could write it off as a one-off, but this seems to be a consistent problem. The quality is just not at all what it should be for the cost. Super disappointing.

The styling of these chairs is lovely and the wood color is beautiful, but 3 out of the six chairs I ordered came with cracked seats. One of the chairs has a large crack that goes about 5 inches from the edge into the center of the seat. Pretty disappointing for Amber Lewis Four Hands chairs to arrive in such poor condition. They weren't cheap. Think twice before you order this chair.

This chair was on sale as it was the last one available. I received the chair and the shipping box had “DAMAGE” written all over it. Upon opening, the chair was extremely damaged and it’s obvious Perigold was hoping to profit in some way off of this damaged item, as they offered me 20% off to keep it. As you see in these photos, that is comical. After a lengthy chat with customer service, it is now my responsibility to return this item by printing out a shipping label (I don’t have access to a printer) and coordinating a pick up with a courier. All of this to be back at square one with no chair replacement. Perigold didn’t even offer any sort of credit for this inconvenience. Beware of returns for this company. Their customer service is terrible and unethical. Order directly from manufacturer.
