I hate to leave a two star review because these chairs are absolutely beautiful. The wood is a gorgeous off-white with natural distressing. But the woven seats - they are so prickly and sharp that I cannot bring myself to keep the chairs. I'm so bummed.

These chairs are visually very nice and easy to assemble but I can only give them 2 stars because the seat is so prickly that I cannot believe they don’t come with a cushion. The seat is also so wide that a custom cushion is needed and Birchlane doesn’t even sell them for this chair. When I priced them out to get them made it was very expensive. I’m disappointed but stuck with them because my husband assembled them before I got home. So I cannot return them.

These chairs are beautiful. They are wide, sturdy and I love the color-- a light and airy cream color. Unfortunately I had to return because they did not look good with the color of my table. Customer Service was great to work with on the return!

The chairs look really nice, just as pictured. The wood is a whitewashed tan color. The Rattan on the seat of the chairs is spikey, a bit uncomfortable if not wearing pants. It might break-in and soften up a little. The seat of the chair is larger than expected, perfect for big-reared folks.
