I ordered this side table for a tight spot in my front sitting room that I wanted to use to display an antique typewriter and it's the perfect solution. My main concerns were the price and the sturdiness of the table. It is technically solid wood, but likely a very lightweight tropical wood, so it concerned me with the weight of the typewriter, but it seems to be holding up! So, basically it was pricey but what I wanted.

These tables are sturdy as well as attractive. I brushed on a coat of oil based matte polyurethane to deepen the color slightly and seal the top against moisture and now they are exactly what I was looking for.

Love this little table it’s perfect in my family room . The finish is nice and it’s well put together. Another fine purchase from birch lane!

Great look, the build is solid and it’s exactly what I was looking for❤️

Perfect side table for our space. Love the unique design and wood variations. You won’t go wrong with this Uttermost piece.
