We ordered five of these stools. One came damaged and Birch Lane sent a new one. The cushions are a bit hard but expect will soften over time. The wood is a dark walnut stain which is what we wanted. The upholstery is beige with dark gray "flecks". The nylon protectors on the bottom of the legs really grab on our wood floor and make it difficult to move the stools. Really nice leather bar stools, fully assembled! One of the four I ordered and received has a small blemish on the wood. The best packaging I have ever seen and very prompt delivery.
