The nightstand looks like the picture and overall I am happy with the purchase. I am giving 4 stars because we had some trouble with the drawers. Initially, one drawer did not close completely and it was sticking out a bit. I had to play around and rearrange the drawers to get them to all fully close. Additionally, the drawers do not open and close as smoothly as would be expected.

Beautiful, solid, heavy piece of furniture. Gray marble tabletop. Arrived on time, company kept me apprised of delivery date. One small piece of wood broken off inside top drawer, doesn’t affect appearance or use.

both nightstands had cracked marble tops. Birch Lane was not helpful in resolving the issue. They offered a credit at 35% or to pkg them up and return them (that's not an option as these are very heavy and pkgs damaged upon arrival). I settled at having a repairman come repair, then they denied that as not option to repair, so I received the credit as I'd already spent way too much time addressing the issue. I glued the marble and covered the cracks, chips with things on top of my nightstands. The nightstands are beautiful but I wouldn't reorder from BL again.

The items are exactly as pictured on the website. The gentleman who delivered my items were polite. They assembled the bed well and placed the pieces without any damage to walls, floors, doorways. They removed all boxes and wrapping materials. I am very pleased with my delivery.
