Mulberry Upholstered Wingback Bed

This bed just arrived. The slipcover goes over a dark grey frame so it alters the look of the Broadway mist fabric because you can see the darkness underneath from the frame.

This has not been an easy process getting this bed. I ordered in October with a 3 month wait for the bed to be available to ship to me. I called several times to check on readiness for delivery as each time i spoke with wayfair representative they instructed me to call back later to check in on delivery status. Finally they were able to give me a delivery date window and said the delivery carrier would email or call me to confirm the delivery date. Never received a call or email from carrier and had to call back to speak with Wayfair representative again. Finally, I did receive an email from the carrier and the delivery was scheduled and executed. UNFORTUNATELY, after waiting 3 months for this bed, the bed arrived incomplete- no splipcover for a slipcovered bed. I called Wayfair, as the delivery team was assembling the bed, and they put in a replacement order for the slipcover. I called the delivery (carrier) company to ask them to check their warehouse to make sure the slipcover wasn't there (thinking maybe the slipcover just didn't make it on the truck with the rest of the bed). Unfortunately they did not have the slipcover in their warehouse and I was told they were instructed by Wayfair to go ahead and deliver the bed without the slipcover— I was never made aware that the bed was going to be delivered incomplete so I was very disappointed as I had waited 3 months with lots of phone calls expecting the complete bed. Wayfair did refund me about $260 for my trouble and put in a replacement order for the slipcover itself. So… I received an email confirming the slipcover replacement order. Then the following day another email saying this slipcover replacement was no longer available. Oh how frustrating! I called Wayfair back and explained the situation. They said they would need to reorder the replacement bed slipcover a different way. I now continue to wait for the slipcover to come in order for my bed to be completed. Hopefully it will all come through in a timely manner and will not receive another email saying the slipcover is unavaialable again. The bed itself seems solid and good quality with the headboard, footboard and siderails wrapped in “foam”. Delivery team was kind but scooted the heavy cardboard boxes across my new hardwood floors and scratched them. It was snowing outside and delivery team never took off their boots or shoes after getting bed inside as they assembled the bed on my new area rug with wet/dirty boots— not the best white glove delivery. I usually never write reviews but this has been a very frustrating and unprofessional process in my opinion.

It’s perfect! Really love it. You’ll have the steam the cover quite a bit but it’ll look great once you do!

Nice slipcovered bed even though I found it on another website for 1790… it is a little more gray than I thought but it looks fine with the blue green color of bedroom. Only complaint is that I wasn’t here my son his wife sent picture to me after they left delivery guys didn’t put on the slipcover it was sitting in box so my son had to take bed part again in order to put the slipcovered sides on. So make sure delivery guys put it on 1st.
