Love this bed and all of the storage space! The color is more of an oatmeal not cream. It took about an hour to assemble by three professionals. There is an upholstery cover that covers the entire bed - headboard and sides. But it’s upholstered underneath so you could decide not to use it, if you wanted. I LOVE THIS BED!!! The material matched the swatches that I ordered. The fabric is thick and of great quality! The slipcover is easy to put on and take off the bed. I had the have the base of the slipcover returned because it didn’t fit the right top side. Birch Lane ordered one right away and had their team take off the old one and put in the new one.
