Melusina Blanket Chest

There’s a large scratch about a foot long across the top. But, the quality of the chest is top notch. I’ll keep for forever.

The construction of three bars inside across the chest tremendously reduces the space available for blankets and quilts. Why is there a hole in top back. Will invite insects and other vermin. Does chest really have a cedar lining? Cannot smell it. Cedar chests always smell like cedar. Overpriced for such compromised utility.

Beautiful trunk. However, there was a small chunk missing out of it, and shipping doesn’t include in-house delivery.

This piece of furniture is a great way to store linens and blankets and looks nice ! Perfect and no assembly required!

I just received it, but since it arrived much earlier than we had anticipated, it is still in the box till our home renovation is complete. I can say it was extremely well packed and protected as we did peek in the box. We did receive a phone call alerting us that it would be delivered and they were right on time. I love the size and quality of this trunk! It is exactly what I wanted. I was a little hesitant about the "cedar lined" interior. I thought the cedar smell might be too strong. Turns out it is just fine! This trunk is perfect! Just a note about the color of the trunk.... It is a dark mahogany without any reddish tones in it. I was looking for the reddish tones, however, the dark color still gets along fine with the other mahogany colored woods in the room.
