Great chair! As described and quality!

Product is exactly as advertised. No issues found with wood base or leather. Color is actually better in person than what is in advert pic…looks deeper and richer. Reclining mechanism is easy to push back and to sit back up. Room for me and one small grandkids. These look great with my decor.

The leather is very high quality. The chair sits high. It is manual recliner but the footrest is not difficult to go up or down. I put a hand on each arm and push to raise the footrest. I bought this recliner as an "open box" item for the extra savings. The chair was packed very well. Very protected with all of the packing and doubled boxed. I wasn't aware that "open box" items can come damaged. The circular wooden base of this swivel recliner was broken (the wood had split) and I can tell it was repaired by glueing it back together. The repaired crack was visible in several areas of the round base so I turned it toward the front of the chair so it was be less noticeable in my living room. It would describe this is more of a "sitting chair" that can recline because the footrest ends at mid calf for me when reclined and I am 5'6". The seat is firm and cushioned, but if you are looking for a soft "smooshy" seat, this is not it. Overall I am pleased with the high quality leather and the beautiful look of the chair, but I have decided to also order a recliner that has at least a 65" fully reclined length. As long as Wayfair's repair job on the wooden base holds up I'll be pretty pleased with the purchase.

Overall, this is a really solid chair. The leather feels high quality and substantial, and the wood swivel base is sturdy and well made. Packaging was thoughtful and protective, and assembly itself was very straightforward. The only downside was figuring out how the recline works. It is a manual push-back recliner, but there are no instructions included explaining that, and no lever, so it was initially confusing to understand how to engage and disengage the footrest. Once we figured it out, it works fine, but clearer guidance would have made the experience much smoother. Still a great looking, comfortable chair with nice materials. Just wish the reclining instructions were included.

Arrived quickly and packed well. Very soft real leather. Easy to put together. It’s a little on the small side, and not super comfortable. it’ll probably get more comfortable once broken in. It’s a beautiful color and fits both modern and traditional designs.
