Matisse Bar and Counter Stool

This leather is a must-have in any eat-in kitchen or dining space. Woven bands of leather make up the back, while a solid, teak wood frame is supportive as you catch up with friends. The leather is vegetable, a method that reduces our environmental footprint, preserves, strengthens, and lends color to the leather. This stool also has a footrest, giving a comfortable design that we know you'll appreciate.

I love the look of these stools. The quality is excellent and they are very comfortable. They bring warmth to the kitchen. The woven leather gives them a very different look to most other counter stools I looked at. They are practical and easy to clean. I love them!. Jennifer. Atlanta, GA. Wed Jul 22 2026

A design collaboration by Amber Lewis and Four Hands. Traditional, updated. The classic turn shape-inspired design is simplified for a clean look in this antique walnut bar stool, balanced with slightly curved legs for a softened look. Complemented by a soft paper cord back.

These chairs are beautiful. They feel very sturdy and are surprisingly comfortable, given they don’t have a cushion. I was sad I had to return them. I measured the height only and didn’t account for how deep the seat is. They didn’t fit under our counter overhang.. Dana. Carmel, IN. Mon Aug 24 2026

The design fundamentals of our counter stool that just make sense: simplicity, functionality, and craftsmanship. A solid wood frame and woven rope seat lend an organic feel, while the mid-century modern shape can easily coordinate with so many table styles. The moody, black-toned profile creates a dreamy vibe for your dining spaces.

Love these counter stools!! They are well made and look beautiful! I’ve only had them for a couple of days but they seem very sturdy. I’m hoping they last us a long while.. Lisa. Andover, CT. Fri Feb 27 2026

Bring classic charm to your kitchen island or dining space with this counter stool, designed for comfort and timeless appeal. Crafted from kiln-dried solid and engineered wood in your choice of finish, it features a gracefully curved spindle back that nods to traditional farmhouse style. Sturdy leg stretchers enhance stability while doubling as built-in footrests for added support.

I already own the dark brown ones for our lower level, but needed black for the kitchen. Lightweight, one piece, nice that I can change the cushions. Good value.. Kimberly. Canton, OH. Thu Jul 30 2026
