This is a solid table. It is slightly darker than pictured in the photo but I don't mind it. As another commenter pointed out, there is a groove along the edge that can make cleaning annoying but other than that I enjoy this table

This table is gorgeous. It’s both sturdy and stylish. We have 6 chairs around it, and there’s plenty of space for everyone. The only thing I wasn’t expecting is the black ring along the outer edge of the table is actually a groove. As a mom of little ones, I don’t love this feature, as it makes sweeping crumbs off the table more difficult. I’ve just had to learn to sweep them toward the center to pick them up instead of sweeping them off the side, which isn’t a big deal. I’m happy with my purchase!
