The media console is beautiful! The wood color is darker than expected, however, it still looks nice in my space. However, I had one issue. The screws that are supposed to hold the inner cabinet shelves were not included by the manufacturer. Although I received a credit from Birch Lane for it not being included, finding a replacement has been very difficult. It is not a standard peg and has treads. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Currently the shelves are sitting in the closet while I hunt for screws small enough to fit, but strong enough to hold it all up.. Adrienne. Auburn, AL. Really nice looking, but I feel I overpaid. Good quality for the type of furniture. I dont think it will stand up in the long run. I wouldnt consider it kid or pet-friendly. Looks like it would easily scratch or ding and not be able to be repaired like a real wood piece.. Julie. Pittsboro, NC. Sat Feb 24 2024
