I like the look of the bench and it was easy to put together. However, there is damage on the seat and a nail sticking up through the bench that we had t remove. It's very rough hewn and rustic which is fine but can't tell that from the product photos on Birch. Considering the price of this simple bench I expected better quality.

The screws on the bench are a lot more noticeable than on the photos. I also had an issue with the quality of my bench. Customer service was polite, but they asked my repackage my item after I advised that original packaging could not be used. They accepted my return, but did not provide packaging for a return. Now i have to go buy a large enough box to ship this back because of their mistake. I'd think twice about purchasing this item.

Bought this to use as extra searing when I expand my round table into an oval and matches well with the dining chairs we also purchased through birch lane. Such a sweet addition to our home. Used as searing under our dining room window when not needed for dining seating

One leg of the bench is about 2 inches short so the bench wobbles. Really annoying considering the price paid.
