Have had the chair about a week, sat down, put my left foot on the front brace, to slide myself back into the seat, and the brace snapped and broke! I am 5’3”, 150 lbs. Will call customer service to see what can be done. This chair is far too expensive to have had this happen one week into use.

I LOVE these chairs. Unfortunately, the first one came in with a very large crack in the wood. I contacted Wayfair and it was immediately fixed! These chairs are sturdy and upholstered. The wood is real and gorgeous. I got mine in a grey-ish beige, and I love it. The seats are upholstered, padded and SO comfortable. I’m honestly very proud of these bar stools and am happy to offer them up when I have company. I highly recommend these bar stools - they are beautiful and functional. Put a little scotch guard on them and you can’t go wrong.

We ordered five of these stools. One came damaged and Birch Lane sent a new one. The cushions are a bit hard but expect will soften over time. The wood is a dark walnut stain which is what we wanted. The upholstery is beige with dark gray "flecks". The nylon protectors on the bottom of the legs really grab on our wood floor and make it difficult to move the stools.
