It arrived within 2 days of purchase. The assembly instructions were fairly easy to understand. Tip- to be successful, you will need a power drill to put attach the bed slats to the frame. Assembly mentions a screwdriver but honestly it will take you days if you did that. We bought an 8 inch thick mattress for the trundle and a 10 inch for the top. Both fit perfectly. It is larger than I thought but looked quite nice once it was set up. I used twin sheets and comforter and it fit nicely. Overall, very pleased with the purchase for our guest room. Pattie. This twin daybed is exactly what you need in your guest room, especially if last-minute guests always seem to end up at your house. Carefully built from solid and manufactured wood, this 80.39"-wide daybed has smooth panels accented by traditional turned legs and knobs for a decorative touch, while a slat system accommodates your preferred mattress. Why don't you put it in your spare room and top it with a few patterned throw pillows? Something to remember for later: You'll need to buy the twin-size mattress separately.
